I have made many trips to Virginia and have visited the Appomattox site several times. When the Coliseum was eventually torn down in 1982, Libbys much-traveled facade made one final journey, across town to the historical society, to come to rest amid the memorabilia it had once housed and in the proper hands at last. He took part in the engagements about Lynchburg, and in the spring of 1865 was in the final battles of the army of Northern Virginia at Five Forks and Sailor's Creek.
