How to become a resident with Lake Land Living Apartments? Application Packet- These forms include the application, roommate profile, guarantor form, and financial aid release. These forms must be completely filled out, signed, and returned. Please mail the application packet back to our office, making sure there is a contact phone number. Once I receive your application packet, I will either mail you a lease OR you can call to make a leasing appointment. BRING DRIVERS LICENSE.
Lease- The lease is a standard 10 month lease of which can be mailed to you, or done in person. If mailed, please fill out all highlighted areas and return it promptly to secure your apartment.
Lease Guarantee- This form should be signed by a parent or guardian, and must be notarized. If your parents are separated or divorced, please include both. This form is a requirement, or pay a $750 Security Deposit.
Security Deposit- Tenants are required to pay a Security Deposit equal to 1 month’s rent, with a Lease Guarantee. The Security Deposit is used after you vacate for expenses such as cleaning, painting, carpet cleaning, and repairs; then refunded within 30 days from the last leased day.
Move In Date- At or before time of move-in, and before keys are administered, the Security Deposit, First Month, and Last Month rent must be paid in full. Move in dates are typically the 1st or 15th of August…dates will be announced for 2010-11 year.
Financial Aid Defer- To defer your rent, or postpone payments without late charges, you must complete the Financial Aid form and provide our office with a copy of your Financial Aid Award Letter. Aid refers to any type of grant, scholarship, or loan. THIS DOES NOT DEFER FIRST MONTH, LAST MONTH, OR SECURITY DEPOSIT. Melissa RasmussenProject Manager
